Using state of the art visual effects and 3D immersion, Ridley Scott's Exodus: Gods and Kings brings new life to the biblical tale of defiant leader Moses as he rises up against the Egyptian Pharaoh Ramses.
The motion capture setup for Exodus was a highly challenging endeavour and epic in terms of scale and complexity. Capturing eight horses, paired with chariots with multiple stunt performers meant capturing 400 markers moving at considerable speed. The week long horse shoot was followed by another week of stunt and crowd work for MPC's ALICE system generating tens of thousands of extra soldiers.
